We are committed to safeguarding and restoring the ecosystems that sustain us. Our focus is on regeneration and water stewardship – protecting the land where our ingredients are grown and the water that goes into every product.
By increasing the use of regenerative agricultural practices, we aim to protect biodiversity, improve soil health and strengthen resilience in our agricultural supply chain. This work is central to protecting nature and securing our future ingredients.
Water is essential to everything we produce. We are advancing water stewardship by improving water efficiency, particularly in high-risk areas, and by replenishing the water we consume at our breweries and production sites. Through partnerships and local action, we work to protect shared water resources for communities and ecosystems.

In 2025, Carlsberg Denmark expanded a procurement agreement to cover 20,000 tonnes of regeneratively grown barley. This barley went into malt for Denmark, Norway and Sweden during 2025 and will continue into 2026.
In 2025, we replenished 1.46 million m3 of water in areas near our high-risk sites in India, China and Cambodia in collaboration with NGO partners.
We launched a new water replenishment partnership with Water.org in India which aims to reach 112,000 people over the coming years.
We are committed to reducing emissions and building climate resilience across our value chain. With concrete targets covering our own operations and suppliers, Cutting Carbon sets out our path towards a circular and net zero future.
We innovate to enable informed and mindful consumption. Through clear information, consumer engagement and a diverse portfolio, we support responsible choices across no and low alcohol and no and low sugar beverages.
